Little Rhymes are working far too hard on their degree shows…. six weeks to go!
Little Rhymes have finally got some work in for Papergirl- good job too seeing as today’s the deadline!
Lucky folk wandering the streets of Glasgow on distribution day will be in with a chance of receiving some prints of Sarah’s awesome photographs, or some of Niki’s hand embroidered cushion covers. Made from old unwanted fabric swatch books, the new owners can carry on the recycling theme as you don’t really need a cushion to fill them- you can use anything from bubblewrap to old socks! And remember you can check out Sarah’s photographs here.
We also thought it was a good opportunity to show off our posters for Matchbox Cineclub… so we submitted two teeny mini versions to Papergirl too!

Come along to the second Matchbox CineClub on 12th November! The last one had an immense reception, and this one looks set to be no different. £4 is a bargain for the chance to see amazing short films in a real cinema instead of on youtube. A really memorable, unique experience!
Another logo, this time for Papergirl Glasgow, which we’re really psyched to be a part of!
The premise is to collect submissions from all kinds of artists in the city, then distribute them around the city on bikes, papergirl style. An awesome idea that originated in Berlin, the Glasgow project is just getting off the ground and has generated phenomenal interest already.

Back in July, Sarah was shortlisted for the Magnum Photographic Award, in association with arts charity Ideastap. On 30th September we’ll find out if she’s through to the final. The Award is the first of its kind and represents a truly groundbreaking opportunity for emerging photographers.

Matchbox Cineclub is a new short film night at the CCA in Glasgow. It’s in association with FutureShorts, which pretty much guarantees it’ll be great. We’re really proud to be associated with Matchbox, as we’ve been watching pixelly shorts on YouTube for far too long; come along to the first screening on 24th September at 7pm!
